Lillian B. Henschel letter to Mrs. [George E. ] Waring [manuscript], 18[8?] June 7.

Writes that she was unable to accept Mrs. Waring's kind invitation due to the early arrival of her newborn baby girl, Helen Henrietta. She explains that her husband was not present for the birth, as he was filling his festival engagement, and goes into some detail about the trials his absence put everyone through. She gives her kindest regards to Mrs. and Colonel Waring.
